 Whispers of Love - mixed media - 2022 playing with collage Recently I was watching a video tutorial from the talented French artist, Laly Mille. If you haven't heard of her work before, she specialises in collage and mixed media. You can take a look at her work here.  Collage ingredients all laid out and ready for creativity Inspired by the video I decided to get hands on and try some experimentation with collage myself. The piece I produced is not pure collage, but rather a mixed media painting with collage elements. To begin I gathered all the materials or ingredients that I might want to use. The fun thing about collage is that the only real limit is your imagination and the strength of your glue. While the piece I created was inspired by Laly's work, I have added my own twists and interpretted it in my own personal style. Hearts have been a big theme throughout my work and I frequently incorporate them into my paintings. Anyway, without further rambling here's the finished piece.
