ESTHER MARSHALL ART
Esther Marshall is a prolific artist living and working in the county of Norfolk, England. Having retired from running a successful greetings card company for over 20 years, she now finds herself spending her days creating original paintings and other works of art.
Inspired by many sources, but primarily a love for the county of Norfolk; with its huge rolling skies and beautiful historic beaches. Esther gathers concepts and ideas for her work from the world around her. This is especially evident in the works featuring the natural world, which reflect a lifelong love of all animals. Several paintings depict Ellie and Lily, a pair of donkeys that she visits with treats on a daily basis.
Esther’s works employ a variety of different mediums, including acrylics, oils, pastels, watercolour and enjoys experimenting with collage using different tools and materials - basically anything she can lay her hands on! Her pieces broach their subjects with an inquisitive eye, spanning the spectrum from loose abstractive paintings to a more realistic approach in others. The catalogue boasts an eclectic mix of work, which reflects Esther’s enthusiasm for art and desire to tackle a broad range of subjects.

Original paintings for sale
At any given moment Esther will generally have a number of original works of art for sale. Typically these pieces are painted right here in her Norfolk studio, but may also have been created in situ en plein air.
Shipping is available within the UK and Scottish Highlands for most pieces. Due to the fragile nature of works international shipping may not be available for all paintings. Buying an original piece of art and supporting a working artist helps to keep money and resources in the hands of living artists. |
Commission
From time to time Esther will undertake commissions for paintings. Details regarding pricing, availability and lead times on commissioned paintings are available on request. Please head on over to the “Contact” page to get in touch and open a dialogue.
